VILLA ESTRELLA

Contemporary home open to the sea

Contemporary style single family home with an architecture defined by clean lines, pure volumes and large glazed surfaces that enhance the entry of natural light and strengthen the connection between interior and exterior spaces. Natural stone and large format porcelain tiles are the predominant materials, providing solidity, visual continuity and character to the architecture.

In the interior design project, our aim was to create bright spaces with simple geometry and a carefully considered selection of natural materials, giving light a leading role as a key element in this home. Despite its size, the house is conceived as a functional and welcoming space, with outdoor areas designed to be enjoyed throughout the year and with views of the sea.

The connection between interior and exterior was one of the fundamental principles of the project. In many of the homes we work on along the Costa del Sol, outdoor areas are designed as a natural extension of the interior spaces, encouraging an open, comfortable way of living that is closely connected to the surroundings.

The style is defined by a clear Mediterranean influence, incorporating touches of quiet luxury and a calm and balanced language, where every detail is approached in a subtle way in order to maintain harmony throughout the project.

The colour palette is based on neutral tones such as sand, off white and beige, with soft accents in water inspired colours. Earth and stone tones are combined with walnut details and anthracite finishes in structural elements and selected pieces of furniture.

In terms of materials, the project features natural stone cladding and textured porcelain surfaces, large glazed openings that maximise the entry of natural light, and textiles in neutral tones such as cotton, linen and velvet, together with the use of walnut wood in carefully selected pieces.
