LA ALBAIDA INTERIOR DESIGN is Doña María Pura Pidal’s dream of dedicating herself to interior design and decoration. After developing her career from a young age in different sectors and always with a business and commercial spirit, in 1991 and at the age of 48 she opened her first showroom in Malaga. Three years later, her daughter Mar Barroso joined the company and in 1996 they decided to expand the business by opening a new Marbella showroom in one of the most emblematic buildings of this city, located on the Golden Mile.
Today the sisters Mar and Cristina Barroso run the company.
Mar is in charge of the creative part, always in collaboration with her interior designer teams from Malaga and Marbella, and Cristina is in charge of the commercial and marketing part. The team is made up of more than 20 professionals including interior designers, the installation team and the administrative department.

More than 30 years of experience and the satisfaction of our customers back us up. Each project is a new challenge to develop new ideas, and another occasion to enjoy what we do.
LA ALBAIDA INTERIOR DESIGN has a personal stamp: our projects are Contemporary with a Mediterranean flair, and have a connection with our local environment, and materialize in fresh, cosy, timeless and always balanced spaces. Each client is unique, each project is special.
Our company is characterised by its personalised service, with the aim of creating spaces that our client feels as their own from the beginning.
We are privileged to work with the most important national and international firms in furniture, textiles, lighting and accessories. But at the same time, we also design and produce many of the pieces for our projects, always seeking the perfect integration of each element and pursuing the harmony that distinguishes our projects from others.
