Located on the top floor of one of the three buildings that make up the iconic Málaga Towers development, this luxury duplex in Málaga is conceived as an exceptional residence where interior design enhances spaciousness, natural light, and uninterrupted views of the Mediterranean.

The main living area is organized around an open-plan double-height living room, creating a sense of fluidity, comfort, and visual openness. Large panoramic windows frame what are arguably some of the finest views in Málaga, flooding the home with natural light throughout the day and highlighting every carefully selected decorative element of the project.

On the upper level, the property features an exclusive private outdoor leisure area, designed as a singular space within the residential complex. A private swimming pool with direct sea views becomes the focal point, complemented by a poolside relaxation area and an outdoor barbecue space, all conceived to enjoy the exceptional coastal setting in privacy and comfort.

The lighting design was originally conceived with a strong technical foundation, combining functionality with comfort through indirect LED lighting integrated into ceiling coves. From LA ALBAIDA, we enhanced this scheme by adding bespoke lighting points that enrich the spatial experience: reading lights integrated into the headboard of the master bedroom, pendant lights above bedside tables, backlit shelving in the living room furniture, and wall lights focused on highlighting artworks.

The client sought a home that would convey luxury from the very first glance, with a refined and sophisticated aesthetic that balances elegance and modernity. The residence is designed to impress and inspire, both visitors and its owners alike. The layout responds to the client’s lifestyle, incorporating a children’s bedroom, two additional bedrooms for family or guests, a home office, and a master suite with a double walk-in wardrobe, all executed to an exceptionally high standard of finish. Bold design features were introduced, such as the vinyl mural in the kitchen or the blue-green sideboard in the living room, adding personality and a contemporary edge that makes the home truly unique.

The colour scheme is based on blues, greens, and earthy tones, encouraging a seamless transition between interior and exterior spaces. This approach integrates the large windows and terrace into the overall design concept, allowing the outdoor environment to visually merge with the interior.

The use of exclusive materials and refined detailing is evident throughout the home. Standout elements include the dining area pendant lights, composed of suspended sculptures of light created through fine cables, resulting in dynamic and lightweight compositions.

Natural textile wall coverings are combined with more exclusive handcrafted finishes, such as the wall treatment in the master bathroom, inspired by pebble beaches and crystal-clear waters, featuring luxurious artisanal details. High-quality materials, solid wood, large-format porcelain, gold and chrome metals with satin and matte finishes, create a rich interplay of textures, further enhanced by the use of velvets, linens, and leather.
The project is completed with a curated selection of artworks by renowned local and national artists, integrated as an essential part of the interior design.

Designing the outdoor area on the upper floor presented a significant technical challenge due to the building’s height, close to 100 metres, where wind exposure is considerable. This factor played a key role in the selection of outdoor furniture and decorative elements, ensuring durability, comfort, and aesthetic coherence without compromising on design.
